Erol Günzel
Erol has been serving as captain on board ILIOS for over 6 years. During that period he had the opportunity to sail to almost every corner of the Mediterranean, the Atlantic coast of Europe and the Caribbean. He furthermore gained extensive knowledge about ILIOS while managing her refit in 2014. Erol lives sailing, and is as passionate about sailing and his vessel as a captain can be. Guests always get the opportunity to obtain first-hand knowledge about sailing from our captain. In his free time he frequently steps on a smaller vessel and enjoys his favourite sport windsurfing. Erol is fluent in English, German, Greek and Turkish and speaks Spanish on a conversational level.
Noah Cumming
Noah has been an essential part of our crew for over two years. He is the definition of a sailor and basically grew up sailing around his home port Bodrum. After finishing High school onboard the tall ship Sørlandet, he worked for years as a water sports instructor for the exclusive beach club Xuma. Before joining ILIOS he worked as captain on a Wally Power boat. There he learned how to keep a vessel to immaculate standards and how to interact with guests in a most professional manner. He is not just master in driving anything with an engine but also excellent in most board sports including kite boarding and wake boarding. Noah is both fluent in English and Turkish.
Patrick Cee
Patrick joined the crew of ILIOS over three years ago. Being a man of many talents, he is able to serve in a dual role as Chef and Deckhand. His passion for the art of culinary makes dining an unforgettable experience on board ILIOS. You would probably describe him as a “foodie” as he is always on the hunt for the freshest and best ingredients and latest trends in cooking. Patrick started his sailing career 5 years ago, working on various vessels from the Mediterranean to the South Pacific. His passion about the Ocean and its conservation makes him spend most of his free time in and around the water. He is a certified freediving instructor and loves capturing moments with his underwater camera. Patrick is fluent in English and German and speaks Spanish on a conversational level.
